Ponder Frogs is a drum & sax party ensemble from Northern California.

Inspired by electronic dance music and New Orleans brass, the band uses live instruments and voice to construct an atmosphere of celebratory escapism infused by absurdist delight.

Their sound infuses elements of club dance music with live horns, as if you had taken BART to a nightclub in Berlin, Paris, or Mexico City. It is real, joyous, and modern, like house music, embodying buildup and release.

The lineup features a drumkit (Anthony Paneno) and a duo of saxophones (Isaac Negrete, Caleb Sanders) playing both tenor and baritone saxes.
